Prairie Chickens in the Flint Hills of Kansas

Last Friday morning Ace and the gang got out to the blind well before daylight to be in place to see the prairie chickens come to the lek (a breeding ground). For two hours they watched them spar and dance.

This video from YouTube shows you exactly what they saw. We wish you could have been with us. Maybe next year.

PS: Yes, we know the video was made in Missouri, but they look just the same in Kansas. Gay does not have a good movie camera. Maybe that will happen next year too.

He shows in graphic detail that our offices and schools are designed to get the least amount of brain function from workers and students. Hmmmmm. 

Of course, Angel Snakes do not have regular classrooms. We mostly sit in trees and take slithers out to some nice hot rock and visit along the way. Poor Humans.
