Today we had the first conference call to kick off Cynthia Morris's "Free Write Fling."
Interesting.
Of the twenty or so participants, most were already writers to some degree. We all just need a booster shot to get our creative juices flowing freely again. Participants called in from Canada, many states in the U.S. and Buenos Ares. Cynthia moderated from in front of her fireplace in France. For an old timer, the sheer experience of having a pleasant conversation with folks sitting at points all over the globe was worth the price of admission.
But in addition to that, I learned some things and was reminded of others that I had long forgotten.
